"Cant beat the location. Just next to York Minster and tons of restaurants. Walking distance to the Shambles and almost everything. The only issue that actually makes our stay not comfortable is that the hotel does not have Air conditioner. We were there during heat wave and this make the stay in the room really unbearable. The temperature in the room was so much higher than the outside. The staff was nice and try to give us 2 fans and a bucket of ice. Still felt very hot. The breakfast was set...

"staying at the easy hotel was good. I was staying alone and had a double room. I opted for a window...you cannot open them. the bed was comfy...the pillows in my own opinion are not too comfy. toilet and shower was very clean. I took a travel kettle so that made my stay fine. lots of shops and food around. I paid 110£ for Monday and Tuesday so good value. it was quiet both nights "

"This is one of those places where you look at the prices against the description and think there must be a catch, but really there isn't – it's a great place to stay. The apartment had a spacious living area, well furnished, and I genuinely think the bed might be the most comfortable I've ever slept in in a hotel. "The hotel was excellent. Beautiful building with historic features throughout. We loved the 'lodge-style' room in the courtyard, brilliantly quiet and well decorated. Clean and modern with great facilities including: iron and ironing board, tea/coffee tray and in-room safe. The TV was a large wide-screen. Would have wanted a second bedside table as one was missing but that's being picky! Would definitely stay again as the location a short walk from the station and Mickelgate was ideal!"
