"Room was lovely and spacious. Only downside was the bed was uncomfortable , the mattress was quite hard and the pillows were way too soft to have a good sleep . Location was great to get to the farmers dog (10 mins in a taxi)"

"Beautiful room, just a few bits to sort out in the bathroom- staff were very helpful and friendly"

"This suited our needs as we were mostly out so only needed a place to sleep. Staff were nice."

"Beautiful and quiet hotel with a great atmosphere! The staff is amazing—super friendly and attentive. The pub is so cozy, and the food is great. We loved everything about our stay and will definitely be back! 10/10."

"Extremely disappointing stay and nowhere near the standard expected for a superior room. We had booked a twin room but were initially given a double. When we were eventually moved to the twin room we had actually booked, the condition of it was unacceptable. There was hair across the bathroom, stained bedding, significant dust throughout the room and heavy dirt and buildup around the extractor fan and light fittings. "Lovely area , lovely property, lovely people just a shame the place wasn’t clean ,"

"Staff were polite and courteous and gave us a room upgrade on arrival which was unexpected but very nice. Large room, clean with a nice big bathroom, room was nice and warm and had all the amenitrequired for a short stay. Breakfast was very good with quality ingredients, overall it was a very good stay and I would not hesitate to return."

"Super team made me feel very welcome and were always available. Clean, comfortable room. Nice breakfast and plenty of parking"

"Good value and location, pleasant staff. TV Channels not working!! Reception apologised and said other guests had complained too."

"Fantastic stay in the cottage - immaculately presented room with loads of space and a very nice selection of snacks. The staff in the Inn were incredibly welcoming and made for a totally relaxed break. Food at dinner and breakfast was delicious. Cannot recommend highly enough"

"A wonderful old pub in a fantastic location just off the main street going through Burford. A lovely room which we enjoyed, but the staff just felt a but distant, making errors with drinks. Food presentation lacked flair and lacked imagination. In summary, a great room but eat elsewhere to enjoy it best."

"Wonderful small hotel with a big heart! The best impression was the personal touch. The note they leave on your bed, the list of locally supplied ingredients with a map! Clean rooms, cozy atmosphere and the best food! I have to praise Olie (I hope I got the name right), he was so helpful, calm and patient. 10/10 hotel 10/10 location 11/10 food"

"The hotel was clean and well maintained but the furnishings were a bit shabby. The breakfast was well cooked but choices were limited."
