"Nobody at the property when we arrived, had to wait 10 minutes for the housekeeping lady to arrive. She was great and very apologetic. Room was freezing on arrival."

"The place had a lot of potential, it just felt neglected and unloved. They had gone to a lot of effort to supply breakfast items in the shared kitchen and it was obviously visited each day by a host as it was tidied and rubbish cleared but some cupboards had random packets and crumbs,the salt and pepper pots were dirty and sticky. It just needs a bit deeper clean and there was piles of rubbish just outside the kitchen. The room was also a bit tired. Beds were comfy and there was tea, coffee,...

"The service was great, though my suggestion is that it is difficult to pair with an extended stay when you booked a short stay. The long-stay owners were extremely loud on the last day. Overall, a three-star from me, just because the service was good."

"We arrived to no one around and after walking around the property finally saw an envelope with our name on it and our key. Our room smelt moldy and damp. The carpet was dirty and the walls were peeling. The beds were very uncomfortable. It was shocking to see after such a high rating. The yard was unkempt and there was a general air of neglect about the whole place. "

The rooms were comfortable and spacious and the grounds impeccably maintained, resulting in a perfect family reunion weekend involving picnics in the gardens, meals in the restaurants and restful sleeps. "Nice stay at this cosy hotel. Good location & great parking - situated nicely between Saundersfoot & Tenby. Friendly staff, nice brekkie & recommended if you are visiting the area & don’t want to be in the middle of it all but still easily accessible if you want to go into either place. Very nice!"
