They hadnt recived my expedia booking, i booked a cool suite with a garden view, but got a tiny room on the main road a25, woke at 3am and couldnt sleep afterwards, paid for a premium room and got a travelodge, dont get me wrong it was fine but ,b and b for £300 per night for the room i booked that didnt get feels a bit poor, breakfast was lovely, and they charged £10 for parking??? Not great really 6 out of ten if im honest,

The customer services were top notch. I required assistance with a charger adapter for my cell phone, and with getting a taxi. Food was exceptional. As a traveler on my first holiday, my stay here was perfect

Not much provided in the rooms, soap and shower gels are being used by all those using that particular room, not very hygienic. First time in a hotel not being provided with individual wrapped items for use in bathroom. Would take our own if ever stayed there again? Not over generous with the tea and coffee only two teabags, they went soon after arrival which meant buying from a local shop to make a cup of tea in the morning. One bottle of water provided for two people again had to buy more. Not sure if room had been hoovered bits over the floor and dust all along the edges of the carpet and side of wardrobe. Furniture a bit dated. Good breakfast menu to choose from continental or cooked couldn't really fault that more than adequate for what we wanted. The meals though for lunch or evening we thought were quite expensive.

Parking is now £10 per night and EV Level 2 charging is expensive at £12.50 per hour. Other than that, the property is very nice and quant.

Disappointed and left the stay very tired .
We were placed in a small outbuilding with guests that had a party onsite. The guests joined each other and we were unable to sleep until they left at 5am. I complained but was only told the guests had now left and our second night should be ok. In the morning of the second day the housekeepers were unprofessional chatting to each other about their hair staring in mirrors etc . I would have appreciated some sympathy from the manager but there was apathy . I never have needed to write a review like this before it could have been dealt with much better if someone took the time to appreciate the situation .

Friendly and welcoming!
Really polite staff, very welcoming on arrival. Comfortable rooms with a good bed. Bathroom was tired and due some TLC.

Lovely hotel, room average. Extremely noisy extractor fan in bathroom. Pillows not so good. Had to clear tables ourselves at breakfast to make room for next course. Staff didn't seem interested. Thought £10 to park car in the car park a bit steep!

Great Service
Great place to stay and the pizzas are fantastic, have stayed here over the years and it has not changed. Rooms are clean and staff really friendly. The hotel has brought in parking for £10 a night and due to the fact it was only brought in the day before they agreed to remove from my bill, excellent service, very professional.

Lovely village hotel
What a charming hotel in a lovely village. We had breakfast in the morning. Stayed with my husband and daughter was in a put up bed. Everything easy and straightforward. Would stay again!

The mattresses in the room let the whole stay down we did not sleep a single wink! It’s utterly ridiculous for what they charge when you have a bed that is like a marshmallow with absolutely zero support to it especially when a long flight the day!

Well sited traditional hotel
It was disappointing to find the restaurant booked until late on our first night and fully booked on the second. Fortunately a nearby restaurant squeezed us in for the night with no availability.
