"Clean but not behind furniture - someone had unplugged the clock so I moved the nightstand and it was absolutely filthy behind it. Gross! Beds were fresh clean and comfortable. I figured out why they unplugged the clock no matter what you had it set on it made a humming static noise - annoying! The hairdryer didn't work and the plumbing struggled. Breakfast was basic but often not stocked - staff responsive when presented with the issue. Clearly and old in need of remodeling hotel. Also the flashing or siding on the outside of the building smashed against the window/side and made a horrendous noise on a very windy night - freaked us out initially until we figured out what it was but set us up for a bad nights sleep."

"Check in has no staff. Since I booked with Hotels.com as a third party. Check in was not smooth. Had to make a phone call and get scolded for using the third party. Room was nice but had to carry the bags 100 yards from parking lot and down and back up 20 plus stairs. Skip the studio if you are old like me. We just wanted a place for the night. We did not take advantage of the views or amenities. Seems like more of a destination place and not people needing a place for a night."

"Pleasantly surprised that a full cook-to-order breakfast was included in the cost of the room. (Was not mentioned on the website that I found). Walkability to downtown was a huge plus! Enjoyed our stay!"

"From the photos on Expedia we were excited for our stay at the Inn. Upon our arrival, there was no parking where we had been instructed to park and only street parking was available. Check in was fine. When we walked into our room we discovered it not to be as pictured on Expedia. It wasn’t even the same bed as pictured and we really should have questioned why the bathroom photo only showed the top of the shower door. The street noise coming into the room was very loud. I sat down on the bed to see if it was at least comfortable and it too creaked loud enough to wake the dead. For a light sleeper this was never going to work. I looked around the room, compared it to the picture on line and realized that we were fooled by a very enhanced photo. We knew we were not going to be comfortable enough to stay in this room, even if we did sleep a little there was no way I’d use the shower. We notified them we were leaving. They did offer us two other rooms that looked more like what we had seen on line. Still being upset by the deception we decided to move on. We did request a refund based on the deception even though their site says “no refund” we thought they might do the right thing knowing the room does not look like the photo they gave to Expedia but unfortunately they did not. I have no idea how they have achieved an “Excellent” rating. "
