"I stayed here to visit both Washington DC and Alexandria. I emailed the hotel well in advance and they allowed me to drop my bag off early, without charge, so I could do some sighting. Staff at the front desk were extremely helpful when I asked questions. The room was nice and tidy, comfortable bed but a little bit noisey as I had a room adjacent to the main road. The shower pressure was really good. All in all a great base for what I wanted to see. Really enjoyed my stay. A big shout out to Ian (I think that was his name was, the lad with the long hair at reception) Extremely friendly, great customer service and had a fantastic sense of humour as well. He even remembered that I wasn't Canadian (He'll know who I am with that last comment)"
