"Upgraded to the loft apartment style room and it was worthwhile. There were breakfast and steak restaurants nearby and the added bonus of The Tavern which was attached to the hotel. All in all a comfortable stay and probably better than our experience at the Fort Garry which we stayed at after this hotel."

"The hotel is located close to many amenities downtown. We did not feel comfortable being outside the hotel in the evening. The police were on site while we were there to arrest a person in the hotel. This is not the hotels fault but a symptom of the downtown population in Winnipeg."

"My first time staying at this hotel, I will definitely stay again. The staff at the front desk were very nice to me. The room was clean and up kept very well. The restaurant is pretty good. I did not go to the tavern so cannot comment on that. I was out late most nights and the front doors were locked so you have to knock or call them to get in. It is pretty far from most of the things I did but getting into town and out of town was very convenient for me. They have a strip mall and some decent stores within walking distance. Parking was not a problem on any of my 5 nights. Heat and AC worked well. I would definitely recommend staying there unless you have 0 things to do on same side of town. Also not far up the road there’s a house that raises deer I think. Always got to see some big and small deers just hanging on the sidewalk and grass. Awesome :)"
