Great find. Hotel absolutely superb, extremely clean rooms and very comfortable beds. The owner (Alistair) and the reception/breakfast staff were exceptionally helpful and attentive and could not do enough for us. Small bar available to round off the day and lovely breakfast to start the next one. All in in would highly recommend this hotel.

The bedroom was well equipped with everything that you might need. Comfortable bed and excellent facilities for making drinks in the room, the bathroom was equipped with quality products for showering and hand washing . Breakfast was superb with a wide choice of options. I extended my stay by a further night and dined in the restaurant. Taste and presentation complimented each other, the bar offers an extensive range of wines. beers, spirits drinks to please everyone. I will definitely be...

All round excellent experience.

Would return again when next in the area Lots of pros and no cons

Beautiful property and a lovely room in the eves with a lounge. Bar closed early though. Breakfast cooked perfectly and was great for vegan and meat eaters. Perfect position in Town

Stayed there in April. We travelled with another couple so had two rooms. We arrived very early and asked the manager if he minded if we left one of the cars there whilst we went out for the day to Blenheim Palace just down the road and he said it would be fine. We had a lovely welcome when we returned later, he was very friendly and very polite and showed us to our rooms straight away. We had room 6 which was at the back of the hotel and lovely and roomy and quiet. It was spotlessly clean...

Fantastic stay in the cottage - immaculately presented room with loads of space and a very nice selection of snacks. The staff in the Inn were incredibly welcoming and made for a totally relaxed break. Food at dinner and breakfast was delicious. Cannot recommend highly enough

We had a fantastic time at the Lords of the Manor, it really is an exceptional hotel. A very relaxed atmosphere and the staff make you feel at home as soon as you walk in. They were especially accommodating with our dog who stayed with us. The hotel gardens are huge and we’re a lot bigger than we thought, stretching down to the river. It’s a great place to explore the Cotswolds.

I stay here regularly for work, alway very good. Staff are incredibly nice and work hard to make the stay comfortable. Rooms are always clean characterful and comfortable. food is great. Would highly recommend.

Anniversary weekend. Very nice hotel with character and good service - just what we were looking for. The room was super, the hotel serve fantastic afternoon tea and we loved the quiet library and the little sun-trap on the library terrace. Would have liked fluffy bathrobes, but can't think of anything else to improve. Be warned: - The bed was hard (which we like/prefer) but large and comfortable. The climb to our room was via small twisty stairs with a very low door. So if you have any physical...

We were attending a parents event at one of the colleges on Saturday morning, so decided to treat ourselves to a night at The Old Bank Hotel the night before to allow for dinner and a more leisurely start in the morning. The hotel has its own car park and is perfectly situated on the High Street. Our room overlooked the dreaming spires of Oxford was tastefully decorated, equipped to a high specification and extremely comfortable. After dinner, we enjoyed a glass of wine in the peace and quiet...

Lovely hotel in a quiet location but loads of things to do nearby from Oxford to Bicester Village and the Cotswolds. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The quality of the food was the standout with great menu, quality and presentation. Would highly recommend

Really lovely hotel in 20min walking distance or £6 cab (Oct 2024) from centre of Oxford. Very welcoming, beautiful and clean room, comfortable beds, lovely bathroom and extra touches like a fridge with some free juices and sodas, tea/coffee/hot chocolate/biscuits and also toiletries bags for each of us. Highly recommend.

Can not fault brilliant staff great location lovely food nice room!
