The hotel is well located a little way from the centre of Oxford but an easy bus ride straight to the city centre. I chose this hotel because I could park there. The staff were attentive and helpful, the garden was charming and the breakfast excellent. I thoroughly recommend this hotel, I slept well and enjoyed my time in Oxford. If I return to the city I would book this hotel again without question.

The hotel was really good value for money, rooms were very clean, a little too warm and we couldn’t turn the radiator off in the bathroom! Easy ride on the bus into town and close to the shops and restaurants of Summertown however the best thing about the hotel is the staff, we didn’t see many of them, just Lucas doing the cooking and his colleague (didn’t catch his name, sorry!) who was doing everything else! Really friendly, outstanding breakfast, nice room and great value!

The place was so quiet and peaceful, with clean surroundings that made you feel relaxed. The breakfast was simple but delicious. The rooms were spacious and had everything you needed. Plus, they kept my luggage until seven o’clock that day, which was a huge help. The amenities were great, and I’ll definitely be back.

Friendly helpful staff.We appreciated the wonderful buffet breakfast, along with the tea biscuits and coffee in the room. We loved the large fluffy towels in the bathroom too. Would highly recommend a stay here.

Personeel was vriendelijk. Kamer heel basic Alles was wel aanwezig, maar inrichting kan wel een upgrade gebruiken. Vijf nachten verbleven, geen 1 keer schoongemaakt, zelfs toilet niet. Lagen blaadjes van de trolley, niet gestofzuigd. Alleen dagelijks handdoek aangevuld en prullenbakzakje verwisseld. Ontbijt was basic

Room was exactly as described. Very clean and the included breakfast was a delight! The room had tea, coffee and even snacks waiting for us. Close to the Trout pub for an amazing meal and right by the river. Only downside was the shower is a bit cramped for tall people, with a small step to get in. Not an issue for us, we bent down but some might have an issue. Great stay and very pleased with the price.

I was blown away by this hotel. Booked the 3 bed room, not expecting acting much, but it was roomy, comfy, clean. Water provided, plenty of Tea and coffee, great staff and a breakfast worthy of a 4* hotel. Huge recommendation.

Great stay here! Easy parking, friendly personable staff, very nice ground floor room, clean, comfortable, quiet, convenient location for walking to several restaurants, good selection of items at breakfast with seating in a natural light filled room. It has more of a Bed and Breakfast than a hotel feel.

Met by a very friendly chap who booked us in, room was spacious, clean, the bathroom was larger than expected and had plenty of towels, stocked with handwash & shower gel. Plenty of tea & coffee, bottles of water also. Bed was very comfortable, had a room at the rear so overlooked a very well kept garden (even in the winter), There was plenty of parking spaces Breakfast was a plenty served in a room that was bright, clean overlooking the garden also. I would stay here again.
