It's a mosaic of rustic on the outside, elegant/modern on the inside, quadruplexes, with classic LPs and a turntable in the room. There's no restaurant, fitniess room, etc.. "So, we booked this about an hour ahead of being there. When we showed up, the office was closed. There was a sign on the door addressed to another guest and a phone number on the closed sign. Called the number and the owner of the property answered and apologized that he did not see the reservation come in and was away from the property. He asked us to wait 30 minutes so he could return to check us in. It got mostly better from there. Check in was pleasant and the owner was very apologetic...

"The service was decent. The facility was dog eared, down at heel, tired. The room was dank, unventilated, smelled of stale cigarette smoke, the carpet tacky with unrinsed cleaner, just generally eeeww. And there were quite a few sketchy people hanging around outside, which on top of the poor venue, made me change my mind about staying. I got my deposit back and kept driving. A sadly ‘no thanks’ experience."

"We stayed at the Pearl St address. It’s beautiful and clean. We wished our room had a coffee maker. We are early risers. Coffee was not available downstairs until 7:30. The continental breakfast at the main building was disappointing. (No butter for the toast) We would definitely go back. Kingston is a charming town."

"There was no staff on site. Rooms are nicely remodeled but the property looks like it is still under construction. My wife was afraid and refused to stay. I had to find another hotel for the night."

"This property is beautiful. I especially enjoyed the grounds of the place. A hidden trove with beautiful cabins lush greenery all-around. The river is hidden behind the cabins so you can fly fish. We did the train car rails, through the forest, and it was so much fun."
