"Potts Point is a great area to base yourselves in in Sydney and Spicers is a great "hotel" - actually, that's too impersonal, it feels more like a home away from home. The reception staff are interested and attentive, our room (No.8) was well provisioned and superclean, we were in walking distance of interesting local shops and restaurants, and a short Uber to the CBD. Thoroughly recommend."

"Overall it's ok, if it’s just one person and ur not expecting a restaurant attached. Rooms are small and the generous sized bed takes up 80% of the room. The bed is pressed against the wall( so if u got company they have to jump over u). Very limited food options.Expect to go else where if ur hungry. Other than that. Beds clean, comfy, staff are good , its very central to everything (on top of Wynyard station) and oddly very quiet. great for a night any longer would be a stretch"

"Fantastic location and walking distance from many attractions, restaurants, shopping. Beatrice at check in was spectacular and showered us with kind attention after a 15 hours flight - a much needed pampering that made a huge impression!"

"We stayed for 6 nights at 2 bed and 1 bath apartment. Friendly people at reception. Very good location, many restaurants, cafe and bakeries nearby. Walking distance to shopping district, Sea Life, King Street wharf,etc. There were fitness center and pool, free to use for Skye suites guests. All good except the vallet parking fee is on the high side. "

"The hotel was perfectly located, excellent staff and amenities. The only thing I took issue with was that when booking I selected Xcover insurance under the proviso I could cancel the insurance for full refund right up to 8th July. I sent an email on 1st July advising my intent to cancel the insurance, I heard nothing….. I sent at least 3 follow up emails asking for assistance in order to cancel before the 8th July. I have still not heard anything. I felt I was mislead with the ability to cancel...

"It’s in a brilliant location and easy to get too using public transport. It’s right next to circular quay where all the ferries depart , which is also the train stop. It’s also very close to Sydney opera house and Sydney bridge and the harbour. It’s a very short walk to all these areas. The hotel staff were superb."
