"Comfortable cosy stay in lovely, clean cottage which is dog friendly. Situated minutes from shops meaning you can easily get your essentials or grab a drink in a lovely pub. Nice location and suitable base to drive to other parts of the region. The cottage was clean and presented as described. ibis Styles York Centre

8/10 Good

"Room was clean, snug and maybe a little extra needed for hanging clothes, bathroom modern and also very clean. Only real moan was the lighting, which was not great and due to aesthetics I feel! Had little to do with staff and they were fine. Did not use the bar. Had breakfast on our first morning and no complaints, though did think £14 each was a little steep."
