"We had a lovely 2 night stay in early July. This is a classic New England inn- think cozy, warm and well lived. If you are looking for sleek and spa this is not it. If you’re looking for a comfortable stay with very friendly owners and staff- this is for you. The pool was fantastic bonus as it was 98 degrees during our stay."

"Lovely historic home filled with books and artwork, and many outdoor spaces to sit and enjoy the property. Breakfast was wonderful with caring attention paid to guests needs and wishes. It was also a nice time to sit and talk with other inn guests and learn of area places of interest to see/visit. Room was comfortable, not large, with small, very clean en-suite bath. Owner’s dog was sweet to greet us in the morning! Was not able to connect with wifi in our room but not a bad thing to be without...

"Good location, beautiful inn. We had a claw tub with hand held shower only. Breakfast was delicious and great choices. Roo. Temp easy to adjust. No USB plugs or convenient outlet near bed. TV was rather small on a dresser. Two nice chairs in room. Good space overall."

"The property has a gorgeous view of the lake. I enjoyed walking around and also the owner started a bonfire at night. Everything there was very casual and relaxing."

"Comfy beds, clean cute and modern, I love everything about this little place. Easy check in even though it’s basically virtual they communicated clearly and quickly about my room and door code. Only thing was there was a container of someone else’s snack leftover in my mini fridge when I arrived I just threw it out. I love the real coffee mugs in the room that’s a nice touch."

"I liked the gym, bed, pillows, TV stations selections. I didn't like the location of the room safe which was literally floor level and practically impossible to access. The couch in our room seemed to be missing a cushion to allow one to rest against."
