"Dusty room. When you pay £25 to park your car for less than 8hrs you expect a barrier that functions. I had to ring the buzzer twice before I was let out. I saw other drivers have the same issue."

"A hidden gem. Staff make the difference with their welcoming arrival and food was lovingly prepared catering for vegetarian and pescatarian. The room was super cosy clean and catered for all essentials a cup of tea or coffee is much needed. Everything was lovely thank you to all the staff every one of you are an asset to the hotel and pub. We will visit again. "

Joined rewards membership as it said you could get a discount in the restaurant but navigating to try and get a code was impossible…otherwise a lovely stay. "

"First time I have experienced a 4 pm check in. At the same time check out is at 10 am. Both times are very inconvenient, especially the 4 pm check in. The place was clean. If you need your room cleaned you would have to request it, which was not an issue. Good access to transit as buses stop just in front of hotel. Front desk staff was helpful. The area is safe, as I was out walking past midnight and never felt worried."

"The property wasn’t ready when we arrived for 3pm, eventually ready at 5pm. When we arrived the fridge was not turned on so we could not refrigerate anything for several hours, the doors were left closed so when opened the fridge smelled awful & very unhygienic. Cutlery & utensils were rusty & in very poor condition. All the beds were broken in some way & extremely uncomfortable, no decent nights sleep were had by the 6 of us. 1 room had a burnt out extension lead. Dark coloured futon with...

"The owner of the property wasn’t sure if it had been cleaned and said would find out when we was sat outside didn’t call us back turned his phone off after waiting for half hour we had to travel all the way home spoiled our children’s birthday weekend "

"Overall an okay experience. I got there in the dark on a rainy day. I got an average room. TV wasn't working. Heating was off, had some issues but they solved it with electric heaters instead. A place suitable to spend the night, nothing fancy. "
