"Was under construction, which meant the restaurant hours were effected by this and also in room dining. Not a luxury experience at all having to pay a resort fee seemed totally unnecessary I’d say considering. Won’t be giving this property another try which is a same as it’s a very historic Portland location but under new ownership and has lost all of its magic. "
"Pick another hotel. Valet is outrageously expensive at $69/night and apparently less than a third of check-ins use this service, preferring instead to park a block away across the street and lug their own baggage. By the way, valet is a third party service provider. Hilton apparently endorses the outsourcing this first-impression experience.
No business center to give guests access to a computer or printer.
No staff to assist with loading baggage onto a trolley (that guests have to get themselves and pus around, onto and off of elevators and all the way to their room).
A call to the front desk to request a luggage trolley be brought to our room for checkout day was given a "let me see if I can find someone to do that and I will call you back." Still waiting for a call.
Front desk agent did not even bother asking how our stay was when we checked out. Have to assume she hears complaints from the majority of guests checking out.
Save yourselves the hassle and disappointment. "
"First there are many stairs. There is not an elevator. Otherwise the entire stay was wonderful. The indoor hot tub and heated pool were lovely after a long, cold beach walk. They have fire pits on the patio just outside of the pool area.
They have a casino shuttle as well. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is great, nice varieties."
