"We were married on Matamanoa Island 25yrs ago. It was beautiful to come back, not just to the resort, but to the people. Family members of those who were in my wedding party are employed there and we're so pleased to see the photos of their aunties, their mum and my warrior still works on the Island. "Wonderful view from bure’s. The menu needs more variation eg lunch is entirely taco’s one day (just different flavours), next day lunch is entirely pizzas (different flavours). Lunch is very expensive 30FD for a toasted sandwich. Ran out of snorkelling gear one day because people did not have to return theirs each day. Housekeeping staff did great job - friendly & responsive to requests. Would stay here again"

"A beautiful property and such a wonderful stay. Api, Jerry, Ratu and the whole reception and dining team were so warm and kind. They made a real effort to learn and remember everyone’s names, greeting you personally at meals and whenever you passed by. We’d highly recommend the free nature walk – it’s a great way to learn about the property and the plants growing there. The complimentary 10-minute spa foot ritual was another highlight, with gorgeous views over the grounds and the ocean. We...

"We loved Barefoot! Beachfront traditional Bure, plenty to do, and great food. Was a place to really relax, but still with enough to do for the kids. The extra snorkel and day trips do add up though. Will definitely be back. "
