Korovou Eco Lodge

"Had a wonderful time in Korovou eco resort. The staff, especially Aboo (sp?) were wonderful. Really enjoyed the medical talk and coconut demonstrations Aboo provided. The seaview bungalow was rustic, but had everything you needed, except cold showers. It didnt bother us as after a cool snorkel we just rinsed off, but others that didnt snorkel were dreading their daily cold showers. The view from our room was stunning, and for the price I think its the best place I've ever stayed! The food was really great for the first 2 days, except on the last night they served us fish even though we were vegan. The next day the food wasnt as good (maybe the chef changed). That was probably the only negative experience during our 3 day stay, The snorkelling off the beach was great - lotsa colourful coral and fish. Walked over the ridge to the other homestay and the snorkelling there had huge impressive coral (so highly recommended). We brought our own snorkelling gear as I think they charged 10 per day. Loved playing beach volleyball with all the Fijian locals (who are all really good). Highly recommend staying here, as so relaxing, great value for money, nice staff, and you will meet nice like-minded other guests. Just a reminder this is not a 5 star resort with all the luxuries resort with 5 star prices. So dont book this place if you are super fussy, but if you want a local experience, right on the beach with peace and quiet and good food then this is your place!"
Waya Island Resort - Adults Only

"We had THE BEST time at Waya. The hotel is very well-run- the room was spacious and comfortable for our stay. Amenities are plenty and they have a selection of activities to do per day, some of which you a pay-as-you-go, including a lot of snorkelling, which was perfect for us. All gear included was very helpful. The food was delicious- for an island resort, the menus were inventive and very tasty. The main highlight is the staff. The staff are the friendliest, sweetest people you will ever meet. They are all so welcoming and funny, and make you feel a part of their Vuvale. I’ll hold the memories close to my heart always! Honestly had the best time, can’t recommend them enough."
Blue Lagoon Beach Resort

"Had a relaxing & lovely time. Highly recommend. Staff were very accommodating. Enjoyed the amazing pool & deck. The open air restaurant & bar make ease of eating, enjoying the pool or grabbing a drink an easy few steps for convienience. The tourquoise water instantly makes you feel you are in paradise! Caves, snirkeling and many neat dive sights all close by. Local village nearby also. Impressed so many of the staff get to go home daily and see their family also... Wish everyone could have the Yasawa Islands experience. Especially this beautiful Blue Lagoon."

"The staff were so lovely, welcoming and always happy to help with anything we needed. Activities ran throughout the day, every day, so there was always something to get involved in. We enjoyed our cave trip, scuba diving and snorkelling. We stayed in a beautiful treetop bure. Keep in mind that the bures aren’t particularly modern, if you’re looking for something like that. The food was great, with a different menu every day to choose from. The staff were always available and made the whole experience really easy and enjoyable. Wi-Fi is only available in the main area and doesn’t reach the rooms, which wasn’t a problem for us but is worth knowing beforehand. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and really enjoyed the friendly atmosphere, activities and amazing experiences on offer"

"This resort is amazing . Well organized . The staff will do anything they can to make sure your stay is perfect . Simon at the dive shop was super helpful and so was Sam . The Manager was there to welcome us and was also there for our departure . We had an excellent vacation !!"

Barefoot Kuata Island Resort Fiji

"Gorgeous Bure, right on the beach. Indoor/outdoor shower and bath. Be careful not to slip in the shower on residue left by cleaning product. Staff are always warm and smiling but not always as helpful as they could be. Sometimes had to make several requests before I could get a straight answer, e.g., is it possible to watch the AFL grand final?"
