Loved the location of being nearer the old side of Kyoto. Spacious lobby was lovely along with rooftop bar. Balance between sympathetic design and modern luxury. Breakfast was excellent and very varied to others we had in Japan. Room was good and a generous size. Ground floor didn’t have much light but that was okay as we were out all day. A great stay. Room was lovely and spacious. Great view. Breakfast was delicious. Couldn't have asked for a better stay. Rooftop has free snacks and drinks with a fire pit. Had such a lovely time

This hotel was ideally located in Kyoto right next to the subway station and only one stop from Kyoto station. We had a king bed room which was very spacious with plenty of room. Would recommend staying here if you are planning on visiting Kyoto couldn’t recommend this hotel more.

Perfect location right next to exit A3 of Kyoto station (shopping centre end) with easy quick bus ride to lively Gion region. Modern, clean , quiet room well equipped and comfortable. Super friendly staff, couldn’t ask for more

This is the second time I’ve stayed at The Royal Park Hotel, first time was about 10 years ago. The location was so convenient to the indoor market, 7 Eleven, Family mart and restaurants literally around the corner, Subway was a short walk away. Staff on reception were friendly and helpful. I had forgotten my wallet in the safe when I checked out and the hotel kindly emailed me to inform me, which I’m utterly grateful for their kindness and looking after my wallet 😊 I would highly recommend...

Nice sized room across the road from Nijo station. Self check in and check out was very smooth and there was always someone at the reception to help. One of the nicest hotels I’ve stayed in whilst being in Japan. Loved the pyjamas!

Excellent super modern hotel with reasonable size rooms within 5 minutes walking distance of metro. Good base for Kyoto with regular buses to Gion. Reception staff are super helpful. Drinks and pastries free all day !
