We loved our stay. It really gave us some down time after climbing mountains and rafting. The hotel room was massive: steam room and plung pool were in the room! We had a view of the river and the room was private. Lakmal offered us excellent service. Helping me into the river and taking us on a jungle walk. I had a great time at this hotel. They were kind to accommodate me and let me check in very early at 9am. All the staff were really kind and helpful, as well as hard working. The management were also keen to check that customers were happy and comfortable. Very nice room too

This was a fantastic place to unwind. A vast array of activities in the surrounding nature or a SriLankan cooking lesson which we found was amazingly interesting and tasty!!!
A truly luxurious boutique hotel with wonderful staff.
The roads in are interesting and we were glad of the SUV we had hired. Over 4 hour drive from Colombo which was indeed stunning.

First of all, congratulations and well done to all the Fox resort Kandy.
If you want to stay at a truly beautiful and pristine hotel in Kandy then Fox resort will certainly fit the bill.
Perched on top of Richmond hill about 10 - 15 mins or so Tuk Tuk / taxi ride from hustle of the city (we paid between 600 - 800 LKR for most journeys in and out of the city).
However to be fair Fox resort is so tranquil and welcoming you'll probably want to maximise your stay their by staying put and...
