"This resort was one of the best parts of our trip to Japan. Coming from the USA, we wanted to enjoy a traditional accommodation. This resort had everything we were looking for: Japanese style room, bedrock sauna, private onsen bath, gendered public onsen bath and an onsen pool. It is a small resort with only 8 rooms, which makes for a very personalized experience. When we arrived the staff was incredibly friendly. We didn’t book any meals with our reservation but was easily able to add it on at...
"The staff was very helpful. It was a stormy afternoon when we arrived. The hotel is right by the Shirahama beach( 2 minutes’ walk). Our room was on the top floor with ocean view, and we could see the sunrise and watch the surfers catching the waves. There is a 7-Eleven and Family Mart nearby. The room was very spacious. If you booked a Japanese-style room, you have to make your futon bed yourself. The futon was very comfortable !!! I didn’t get a chance to use the onsen as I have a tattoo, but...
"Room is clean but front office staff not very helpful. No complimentary water provided and no restaurant in the hotel . Nearby no restaurants . Difficult to find food . Have to walk a steep slope to find restaurants. The good point about the hotel is that it has beautiful sea view and it provides free shuttle service to the train station. Would not recommend to stay in"
"One of the most incredible stays of my life. The resort is beautiful with lots of onsens. The staff were very sweet and professional. They were very accommodating to upgrade my room for my honeymoon. The breakfast and dinner is soooo delicious. Highly recommend"
