"The historic building is simply beautiful, very charming, and well-restored. The room was spacious, and the bathroom was well-equipped. The service in the restaurant was very friendly but extremely slow. The food was rather mediocre. Breakfast was actually quite poor. There was barely a tablespoon of yogurt with the granola, and the toast was cold and hard like rusk. The location itself is beautiful."

"We only stayed one night and it was an okay enough experience, the staff were friendly and room clean, with ample parking. The amenities in the room were also good for our needs and really nice having some outdoor space. The on site pub was really nice and cosy with some board games which was nice to spend a relaxing evening playing. "Room was large with king bed, two chairs for reading, desk counter with chair, coffeemaker, large batbroom with tub and shower. Fairly quiet, althougb I could hear the conversations across the hall easily. Nice bar, friendly and helpful staff. Bus into Oxford a few minutes away."

"It has no air conditioning, so staying in July was very hot. The room had no air circulation, so it was very hot. Hotter in the room than outside or even the hall."
