"Love love love this place!!! Minutes from the west entrance to Yellowstone and yet walkable to anywhere in town for shopping or eating. Fully appointed condo with all the comforts of home. Being a small unit they have maximized the space wonderfully. There is a barn door with no lock for the bathroom which is my only (mild) criticism- my kids don’t respect a closed door 😂 Would also love a little extra piece of mind with a deadbolt inside but overall a wonderful stay!!!"

"The 1872 Inn was clean, the staff was very friendly and helpful, and our room was very quiet. A staff member insisted on carrying my heavy bag for me down the stairs, as well as replenishing our bottled water as often as needed. The breakfast offered many choices of hot and cold food, and parking was more than ample."

"Quiet resort outside the downtown tourist chaos. Beautifully maintained rooms and property. Perfect place to relax after a long day in Yellowstone. Wonderful staff and delicious breakfast."

"We just returned from our trip to West Yellowstone. This is a wonderful place to stay and I highly recommend it. It is clean, safe, and within easy walking distance to restaurants and shopping. But, do read the property description. There is no dishwasher and there is no air conditioner. 10 months out of the year having no AC is probably not an issue, but Montana does get warm in July and Aug. We had difficulty getting the room cool enough to sleep. "

"Very nice, clean, comfortable property. We were there mid-August so the only drawback was no air conditioning. The fans offered relief, but it was a bit warm. Kitchen is roomy and well furnished (plates, cups, glasses, utensils, etc.). Living room is roomy and comfortable, fire place would be really nice in the winter. Comfortable beds and pillows. Close to town, but in a more private, quiet area. Overall very nice and was great for our family of four. "

"1. The breakfast should include food for people with food allergies. We ended up eating at another restaurant where we had to pay for the 3 of us because I could not eat at at hotel breakfast where we were staying.! Also the breakfast area had a time of rotten black bananas and no others that are edible. This should not happen if properly managed. 2. Laundry room was clean and appreciated being able to do laundry in clean facility. 3. Pool and jacuzzi were great appeared clean. 4. The staff...

"Close to yellow stone west entrance, and sufficient eating options around. But for the price, small and pretty dated. No house keeping services regardless of how long your stay is. So if traveling with young kids, do not expect your trash to be taken out or bathroom or room to get cleaned during your stay. Also our flight got cancelled so had to move the dates of our stay forward by one day and they did not accommodate that at all."

"We had a room with the kitchen, it was well equipped, however, there was an odor in the suit, not sure if from kitchen or the carpet. Overall we enjoyed our stay. Very close to main street."
