Really accommodating host. We needed an early check in and this was sorted for us no problem. Clean room. Comfy bed. Good shower. Although no-one manned the reception, the host was easy to get hold of and made the stay easy as pie. Thank you very much

We arrived at Hawk house and were greeted by a laminated sign that explained how to check in. We called the number, but there was no response. We called the bell (several times) and eventually a young lady came to check us in. She showed us to our room and was helpful. The room was a twin room (we had booked a double). The bed linens had stains, and the windows was open. When we attempted to close the windows, it did not (it was almost like it had dropped). There was a hole in the wall by one of the beds, there were also small holes in the bed linens. I would also like to mention that masking tape was not used when painting this room as the 'cutting in' was not great. The bathroom was okay and when we went to the restaurant the staff gave an excellent service, but the room let it down.

Excellent staff, always on hand and very helpful. Especially Shar and Mo. Went above and beyond to make our stay just perfect. Would definitely recommend. Room was lovely, clean and spacious enough for two. Excellent location, quiet and easy to find.

The room was clean and a good size, breakfast options didn't offer many choices and the cooked breakfast came with turkey bacon instead of normal bacon was still nice if on the small side

The staff were very friendly and couldnt do enough to ensure our stay was comfortable. Our room was spacious clean and exactly like advertised on the web site. Everything was very clean. Bathroom and shower etc very good and spotless. We dined at the Indian restaurant next door the food was excellent and the service friendly and professional. Ths only sad thing was the little coffee shop is no longer there but I understand why.

The location was easy to find and access and the staff were welcoming, friendly and warm. The rooms were better than some 4 star hotels we stayed in with proper full size wardrobes, abundant double sockets and sound proofing from the outside world.

Nice stay, good price, awesome breakfast

Room was a bit tired and needed new furniture, but it was very clean. If road noise affects you ask for a room at the back.Breakfast was brilliant and the young man at breakfast was very friendly and helpful. The location was perfect for the places I planned to visit.

This was fine for a basic nights stay during our road trip. The rooms are tired and it wasnt cleaned 100%, used tolietrues in the shower which was a shame. Check in was key left in door with text instructions. Next to a indian resturant, so expect cooking smells, and there is a helicopter base near by where helicopers were flying in and out, be prepared if your a light sleeper.

This is a stopover B&B on the side of a busy road. It's next to an Indian restaurant, whose staff are very friendly and who also act as reception to the B&B rooms and where you go to have breakfast. The room was clean and quiet enough and the bed adequately comfortable. The Indian meal we had in the restaurant was good and the breakfast (choice of cooked breakfast or toast) was fine, although cereal and fruit would have been nice.

Rooms are quite small, mattress on bed really noisy and not well sprung, room smelt a bit musty but was spotless. The attached restaurant is now Indian cuisine in the evenings and unless you are prepared to travel, your dinner options are limited. Breakfast was ok, though no pork products on menu (turkey bacon rashers etc).

Very quick to assist when requiring assistance when we needed the heating on and another cup. Found the traffic noisy as the double glazing did not keep the noise out very well
