"Breakfast was amazing, the room was super clean, and the entire place smelled AMAZING! I requested extra towels, and they were in the room waiting for me!"

"My room had bed bugs. Woke up to a couple four bites on my back. Found a living one on the pillow. Took a video and showed it to front desk. They just moved me to another room. Didn’t compensate me or discount the room charges for the night I slept with bed bugs. I used to work at a hotel and it’s pretty standard procedure to refund a guest that experiences bed bugs at our hotel. Definitely not going back."

"Stayed overnight for a baseball tournament in York, PA. Friendly and easy check in. Room was clean but very humid even with AC running. Property was well kept and clean. Only negative was the elevator floor was dirty (dirt and trash) when we checked in. When we checked out in the morning, elevator floor was same. Overall good stay."

"I didn’t like that it was toooooo pet friendly. The hotel simply wasn’t big enough for other guests not to see any pets or smell anything the hotel was simply outdated and need to be more modernized they wouldn’t have the smell of animals that’s imbedded in the carpet. Overall the room was clean and comfortable. But definitely a one and done for me."

""A little bit funky" is how I would describe Lancaster Arts Hotel. Definitely different, and all in a good way. My requirements for a stellar hotel always includes: clean, comfortable and quiet, and LAH checked all those boxes. Loved the original art work on the walls. The shrimp bisque, ordered on the recommendation of the bartender, was undoubtedly the best I have ever tasted. All employees were cheerful and helpful. I look forward to staying there in the future."

"When I went their site to look up the address, Texas site said "Closed Permanently " When I got there, it looked like it should be closed. The outside looked a ghetto. The parking lot was terrible. The room looked nothing like the advertisement. Lots of damage in the room. There were holes in the curtains- patched with band-aids. The room smelled like smoke, with burn marks on the furniture. 3 bed pillows didn't equal one decent pillow when put together. They did have decent cable."

"The room had NO amenities. No sink outside the bathroom, no hair dryer, no exhaust fan in the bathroom. The light fixture in the bathroom wasn't fully in tact and the bulb was exposed. The light from the hallway was like a night light in the room where it came through around the door seal."
