The people that worked at the front desk were friendly and helpful, but the hotel seemed short staffed. We were there for 5 nights. We found out when we returned to our room for the first time that the only thing that housekeeping did to our room was empty the trash and replenish our towels. We could live without them making the bed, but I expected them to replenish the drinking cups, coffee and toilet paper. The front desk workers said to come down and get anything we need from them, as all housekeeping does is empty the trash and restock towels. It would have been nice if there had been a couple of extra rolls of toilet paper under the sink.
One day they did not come to our room at all.
On the weekend there was an attendant in the dining area to replenish the breakfast food. He sat where the guests could find him but was on his phone until someone asked for something to be refilled.
On Saturday morning, I asked him to refill the waffle batter as the dispenser was empty. He did that right away but did not clean up the tray in the front of the machine where the napkins were soaked with waffle batter. While my waffles were cooking, I clean up that area and also discarded the empty cups that were on the counter. On Sunday when I asked him to change out the waffle batter, I suggested that he should clean the area in front of the machine as well. We were also out of napkins and had to go into the lobby to get napkins. This employee needs to be trained on customer service.
