"Great location for walking. The rooms and areas were a bit tired looking and worn, for example the towels were scraggy, there was no where to hang a towel in the bathroom, the lock on the bathroom door was dodgy, but the hotel staff in all areas from reception to the spa and the bistro were extremely friendly and professional. I used the gym facilities and instead of dining elsewhere, decided to stay on site and eat at their restaurant. The food was utterly delicious and completely vindicated my decision. "Rooms are quite spacious. Staff very helpful. Had an issue with room which was immediately looked into. When it was clear resolution would not be achieved, we were immediately offered a new room. "

"Overall good, couple of niggles. It's located by a motorway and it is noisy as the windows dont shut properly. The breakfast was great apart from the bacon, which they cook folded in half so one side is crispy and one side is soft."
