"Our stay at TaiHu Hotel was spectacular: the host was incredibly helpful and accommodating to the needs of our group of 7 throughout our stay. First, the basics: we stayed in the Deluxe Penthouse, with 3 bedrooms total. The room was incredibly spacious, and the living room had plenty of seating for all 7 of us to socialise. "We loved waking up to the view of the lake. Sitting outside on the balcony was my favorite thing about the hotel! The staff was kind and welcoming. The variety of local Taiwanese breakfast foods was delicious. The beds were comfortable too. The parking is around the block in a separate lot. We enjoyed the location and ability to walk right into the night market from the hotel. "

"This was a very cute cat themed B&B. When we were there they had 7 cats! the cats were all very friendly and we did not notice any smells or problems with them. The morning food was delicious. The area is safe but if walking from the bus stop along the main road you'll need to be careful when you have all of your luggage as the street vendors can take up the entire sidewalk and the road can be somewhat busy. The local restaurants close somewhat early so plan on going to dinner by 5 to have more...
