"Hotel Santiago in Benavente is an excellent first class 5 stars Hotel. Great service and beautiful rooms. Located walking distance to downtown with shops, restaurants and a splendid Spaniard architecture and old streets. Across the hotel is the La Rocha restaurant, considered the best in the area , delicious home cooked food. Complete dinner €12 including an appetizer, main course, desert, and a bottle of house wine. Definitely our favorite during our trip! "

"Todo estupendo..cuando llegamos estaba en el pueblo el mercadillo y nos volvimos locos para poder encontrar el hotel rural…tuvimos que dejar el coche a las afueras del pueblo porque el centro era sólo acceso para residentes…la estancia genial pero cuando nos íbamos el ascensor estaba averiado y la bajada con las maletas era algo dificultosa por el peso de las maletas bajándolas por las escaleras… Ofrecen buenos desayunos.."

"This is a charming hotel on the edge of the town of Toro. We found parking right outside the hotel very easily when we arrived at the check-in time. Absolutely stunning views of the whole area from our bedroom and the restaurants within the hotel The hotel receptionist spoke fairly good English and was really kind and suggesting places we could go and try the local wine.
