"The hotel is very new next to the new stadium sports complex which is one year old.
There was some problems with the shower door and safe but the staff quickly moved us to another room.
Breakfast and room service were very good.
The shower has excellent strong water pressure and air cons work very well.
You have to get a taxi into the centre of stone town which will cost you USD15 each way, but it is worth for the convenience of being away from the hustle and bustle - it was peaceful. "

"Superb location, charming hotel, absolut stunning view of both ocean and rooftop pool from the family room with (huge) balcony and sea view. We felt we had gotten the princess suite 😀. Family room contains 2 beds that easily holds 2 adults each and 1 bed for either an adult or 2 kids and plenty of space besides the beds and funny couch. Bathroom also really special with arabic vibe.
Hotel staff so forthcoming and we didn’t even notice the power cuts as they have back-up power in place.

"I stayed at Zanzibar Palace Hotel from June 8 to June 10 and had an amazing experience. The hotel is full of character, with beautiful Zanzibari decor and a peaceful atmosphere. The staff were incredibly warm and helpful, the breakfast was delicious, and the location was perfect—close to all the sights, yet quiet at night. A true gem in Stone Town. Highly recommended!"
"Safari House had plenty of space for our family of five. While not in the heart of Stone Town, it wasn't a far walk (10 min) to get there. Romaine, our host, was quite accommodating. The power and water shut off in the morning and he was over immediately to fix it (we didn't realize it was on a timer and was an easy fix). He also allowed us to store our luggage there after checkout time while we went out for a bit before our flight home. "
"We can't say enough good things about our stay at Habari House. My husband and I travel quite a bit and never have we stayed somewhere with such gracious hosts as G and Lucy. They welcomed us in and made sure we were comfortable and had all we needed. In fact, when I mentioned that my mattress was a bit firm, they went out and got a new mattress and a foam topper to ensure I would have a good night's sleep. I didn't want them to go to the trouble, but they graciously insisted.
