Lovely stay, great breakfast, great location

Very enjoyable stay. Great location around 100m from the sea with easy access to other places by the bus stop down the road. Great breakfast options. Only downside we had was construction ongoing across the road which was loud during the day, but didn't start until after we'd woken up anyways.

Staff and service provided was amazing. Any requests was satisfied. Only issue is with the AC unit which was noisy at times even though it is off. Apparently this is common normality.

Excellent weekend stay

Excellent stay. Just a short walk from the sea front.Very nice room with very comfortable bed and top quality bed linen. The only slight downside was the quality of the clothes hangers in the wardrobe, they were somewhat past their best. Very clean throughout. Breakfast was also excellent with lots of choice and good quality. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Fantastic location, beautiful design and friendly

I absolutely loved this hotel! The staff were all very kind, the design of the hotel and rooms were very pretty and modern and the daily breakfast was wonderful with lots of choices of breads, meats, cheeses, yogurts, fruits and cereals. You are only a 1 minute walk from the water and lots of restaurants. My room had a mini balcony without a nice view so I rarely used it but in all honesty, I didnt care. There are rooms with bigger ones facing the back if you need or want it. I loved my stay here and would return for sure!

Construction site opposite

Nice room but shame it faced the construction site making the balcony unusable. Having booked the most expensive room available it would have been nice to have been given the option of an alternative room with a balcony that we could use. Work started early and during the night materials were dropped off waking us up. Nowhere to dry swimming stuff.

Well located modern; new place to stay”

We stayed a weekend soon after Murella opened. It is just off the main promenade and very close to the beach; many restaurants etc. We did not use the car all weekend. The place is decorated creatively mixing modern artistic design with rustic/antique-looking furnishings. The superior room we were in felt small and the sink unit too big for the bathroom. The room had a terrace that was an enjoyably good size with table; chairs and swinging "armchair". Breakfast was decent if limited and the service was adequate. The staff (cleaning; reception; servers) did their job but seemed like they did not want to be there! Overall good value for money: great location and well set up. We will stay here again.

Highlight of the room - Unable to be Used!

We booked the room specifically with the bathtub, as it was the ‘highlight’ of the room, however this was useless as the bathtub couldn’t be filled with water as the drain wasn’t closing properly, resulting in the bathtub getting emptied in few minutes. Management replied with “we were not informed” - after telling us that reception closes at 17:00, and we thought it was impolite to call for maintenance at 22:00 at night. Management stopped replying to our messages when we tried to deal with the situation.

Nice room, quiet enough surroundings given the time of year. We parked in the free car park a few minutes walk. The communication was good throughout too. It would've been nice to have a safe and the aircon was temperamental – even when seemingly turned off.
