"Booked this hotel so I could go swimming on my birthday only to find out when we arrived the pool was closed. We had a fire alarm at 4am as some one on the floor below couldn’t go the night without smoking and the hotel was filled with drunk people running around the corridors and the front desk would do nothing about it."

"Everything was lovely about this place, its very clean, breakfast was fresh and lovely. Its situated not too far from the surrounding towns and taxis are cheap enough to get around. The only downfall i had was the noise from other rooms, there must of been a big group booking of teenagers that was that loud it kept me awake every night. "What a fabulous stay at the Duke. The room was lovely and spacious and the view from the balcony was spectacular. Every detail was superb from our Welcome from the front desk, the buffet breakfast and the excellent location. Our only downside….our two day stay was not long enough!!! We will be back for more!"

"Hotel is very cool - in concept. EVERYTHING requires maintenance, refresh, replacement. I'd rather have way less "neat" and techno items, but the things there worked well.
