THE STAFF WAS VERY ACCOMODATING AND THE HOTEL WAS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL. IT WAS A HASSEL GETTING TO THE CITY, HOWEVER, THE HOTEL PROVIDES A SHUTTLE TO THE TRAIN, AND WILL PICK YOU UPON UPON RETURNING.
Beautiful setting away from all the noise. Very modern and clean. Excellent, friendly staff. Great bar. Loved it! Would definitely stay here again.

Exceptional stay – outstanding service
I had a truly excellent stay at FIVE Zurich Hotel, and I would like to particularly highlight the outstanding service and kindness of the night receptionist, Philippe Simon. He was incredibly professional, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. His calm demeanor, efficiency, and warm attitude made a real difference and immediately made me feel at home, especially after long days.
The rooms are impressively spacious, beautifully designed, and extremely comfortable. The quiet atmosphere of the hotel is remarkable, allowing for real rest and relaxation, and the views from the room are simply stunning, offering a perfect balance between nature and the city.
Room service was also excellent: fast, discreet, and of very good quality, perfectly matching the hotel’s high standards.
Overall, FIVE Zurich combines luxury, tranquility, and exceptional human service. A special thank you again to Philippe Simon for his professionalism and kindness — he truly represents the spirit and excellence of this hotel.
I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely return.
Large beautiful Hotel. The room was amazing and very well decorated. The staff was exceptional and very accommodating. The location was beautiful but far away from city center and required transportation to arrive at numerous local sights.
Superior hotel! Top! Service was brilliant! Special thanks to Mr. Alexandru from the front desk to superb service! Great place to relax, enjoy and eat good. 100% recommend
The property is amazing, has a unique theme, and the facilities and services are great. The staff are very friendly, helpful, and caring. The front desk agent Maria was so friendly, caring, and helpful. She takes a good care of the residents and following up with them to ensure their satisfaction. She is considered the winning card for any company wish to succeed. We highly recommend the resort, it’s one of its kind.
The staff here were absolutely incredible and truly went above and beyond to help us. Upon arrival, our Uber driver dropped us at the bottom of the hill because he didn’t have snow tires and refused to drive any further, leaving us with nearly a 10-minute walk in heavy snowfall. My partner was unwell, and we were carrying two large suitcases along with a very heavy snowboard bag, making the situation especially difficult.
A young man stopped to help us carry our bags, and we later discovered he worked at the hotel and was on his way to start his shift at the penthouse. This act of kindness set the tone for the rest of our stay.
We arrived about 1.5 hours early for check-in, and the hotel staff kindly accommodated us without hesitation, which we greatly appreciated given my partner’s condition. They arranged for a driver to take us and our luggage to the East Wing and even carried our bags up for us.
Every staff member we encountered was warm, pleasant, and genuinely helpful — something that feels increasingly rare these days. They truly made us feel cared for throughout our stay.
The room in the East Wing was spacious and comfortable, with a short indoor walk to the main building and spa. The only area for improvement would be the room service food, which wasn’t the best. That said, the hotel has several excellent on-site restaurants that looked amazing; unfortunately, my partner was too ill for us to enjoy them.
exceptional experience thanks entirely to the outstanding staff
Not much within walking distance. Some staff were great. Some so so.
East Wing is a very long walk to pool and restaurants.
Very good value though and would stay again.
Pool is very nice. Gym not so much.
Serious weight lifters will be very disappointed.
Breakfast buffet crazy expensive.
Overall facility is very clean, modern, well maintained.
Only reason I’m leaving anything less than 5 stars is because when you book the east wing as they call it, it’s not even in the same building as the main glamorous hotel. You have to walk through an extremely long underground tunnel to a totally opposite hotel. Not convenient if you’re wanting to use the spa or restaurants or bar. The rooms are extremely tiny. No room for suitcases.
First of all, let me say that Five Zürich is a beautiful hotel with a fantastic and friendly staff! The service here is top-notch, and everyone goes out of their way to help and ensure your stay is comfortable. The main building is stylish, modern, and luxurious, making it a pleasant place to unwind.
However, a word of caution for those booking a cheaper room: if you reserve one of the more affordable options, be aware that it’s not in the same building as the main hotel. The room will be in what they call the "east wing," but in reality, it’s a separate building that you need to access via a somewhat eerie tunnel. You have to walk about 150-200 meters, which can feel a bit unsettling, especially late at night. The building used to be an apartment complex and has been converted into hotel rooms. While this may sound quirky, it’s not the most ideal setup.
Our room in the east wing lacked basic things like windows that open, and it had a lingering smell of cigarettes. The place felt a bit like an afterthought, especially with so many conference-goers coming and going. Honestly, we couldn’t spend the night there. The room was just not up to the standard we were expecting. When we approached the front desk, the staff was incredibly understanding and offered to upgrade us to a room in the main building right away. They even gave us a discount for the inconvenience, which we really appreciated. The upgraded room was exactly what we had hoped for!
