The place is perfectly located next to the terminal with short distance walking to Old Town and New Town. Melanie at the front was extremely helpful and nice.

The rooms were very clean, staffs were so friendly, helpful and accommodating. The location was perfect, very close to the Zurich HB train station, restaurants and the old town. I’m so glad that there’s free tea and coffee downstairs with a nice coffee machine. Highly recommended.

Excellent place to stay if you are flying into Zürich and then going to the train station Zürich HBB. The staff is very friendly and we was able to store our luggage until check-in time. Staff also allowed us to store bags on the day we left since our train was leaving after checkout. Food is expensive in Zürich and the breakfast was an excellent value.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Fred Hotel! The location was perfect for everything we needed while visiting Zurich. We took three tours during our stay, and all of them met just across the street, about a one-minute walk from the hotel’s bus pickup location. Even better, we arrived by train, and the hotel was less than a five-minute walk from the train station! There were plenty of shopping and dining options nearby, especially inside the train station, making everything incredibly convenient. Our room was clean, quiet, comfortable, and felt safe. Best of all, the price point made this an incredible value for our money! We couldn’t have asked for a better location or a more convenient place to stay while exploring Zurich. We would absolutely recommend the Fred Hotel to anyone visiting the city!

The apartment was clean and the location couldn't be better—just steps away from the train station, which made getting around extremely convenient. The staff were also very friendly and helpful when we checking in. The only downsides were that it was a bit noisy outside due to the central location, and the room got warm without AC. Overall, a great and convenient place to stay!

We were very frustrated with the check in process as we are not young. We finally figured out how to find a person and we went to the other building and found her. I think her name was Melani and she turned the situation around as we were tired and just wante to check in. She was awesone and helped us with the phone app and was very friendly and made us feel good and laugh with her jokes. Excellent employee!

I give the Fred Guesthouse 5 stars for helpfulness, cleanliness and amenities… the tricky part about the Fred guest house was… the room key on the app. Trying to sign into WiFi at the door was a bit spotty making this task less than ideal. Lugging our suitcases up the stairs to the lift after a long day of travel was hard and the lift was almost too small for my mom and I with our luggage. The room was very clean but also so tiny. With no chairs and barely room for our luggage we decided that this hotel was made for the much younger crowd who travels very light. Not so much for me (60yrs) and my 82 year old mom. Luckily we were only staying 1 night. And we had a few good laughs over it!
