"Fantastic lodge and facilities. No.48. Staff were really good with us for breakfast and dinner. They were great with our Dog too, set up a lovely table for us in the pub so we could bring the dog to breakfast. We will definitely be back, thank you for the stay."

"Bar and restaurant was great. Took a long while to get food due to staffing but not anyone’s fault, they were very busy. Older property so it is quite noisy but all good if you bring ear plugs. Location is nice, not much around in terms of shops etc but a really good base for the area."

"Room was fantastic. The hotel was in need of a tidy up. Reception is a mess, staff disheveled, driveway and parking were great, but you’ll run into workers in uniform and aprons smoking out the back door of the kitchen. Location was fantastic and walkable to the towns other hotels, pubs and shops. ..."
