"Food was excellent and service in the restaurant very good. The overall ambience was very pleasant. Our room was disappointing. It was small with no seat other than the bed. Wardrobe and drawer provision were inadequate even for a 2 night stay. The lack of parking is a serious problem with a 800 yard walk to pick up the car unacceptable to many of your guests, but it's a problem that won't go away."

"A very comfortable hotel in a glorious location on the river at Fowey. Great river view from our room. Good continental breakfast with a paying option for a hot dish. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. We had a great few days. There is limited hotel parking which needs to be pre-booked in advance otherwise you have to park in one of the 2 main carparks. There is a bus service from the top car park which is at the top of a steep hill."

"Amazing place for family with younger children. Our children - 8,6& 2 loved their stay here. We swam every day, attempted crabbing, played in the playground and attended all of the activities put on by the den staff. Kids loved mocktail & jewellery making and they put on a great Easter egg hunt for the kids too. They also attended the den sessions and were happy each time. The rabbit feeding was also really lovely. Only complaint really is the restaurant. Breakfast is good but dinner/lunch has...

"Spacious room with comfy large bed. Decor could do with some refreshing but not terrible just a bit jaded. Restaurant prices match many parts of London or Brighton. I think a simple bowl of pasta will set you back less than fifteen quid in Brighton Marina. Food edible. Service in the restaurant rather variable. You can wait at the desk for ages sometimes before being taken to a table. Hard to know whether it is because staff are genuinely run off their feet or just unmotivated/disinterested....

"We stayed for 4 nights at the holidays park . The chalet was spotlessly clean, it had everything that we needed for our stay. A nice touch was the pot with the washing up stuff etc and a pencil that had a special end on it that you can plant (our is a herb) to remind you of your stay. The bed was really comfortable too. We will definitely be visiting here again. "
