"We loved our remote cabin which overlooked the volcanic glacier and the glass design meant the sun streamed in. "The hotel is very close to some beautiful spots in Iceland. We chose it so that we could spend two nights and move from there to different points; it was a great decision! "We had an excellent stay at Skalakot and wished we could have stayed longer. The property is so beautiful and our room was very spacious. We also really enjoyed the fireplace lounge after dinner.
