"Very courteous valet service with no hassle in & out. We enjoyed our room. Very comfortable. Only disappointment was the pre-made breakfast tacos that the cafe staff had to microwave...with so much great Mexican food in the city, we skipped breakfast at the hotel and went elsewhere. "The hotel was very nice. However, there were some minor issues we had over a long Memorial Day weekend stay. First off the elevators on the property are very fast, however, they are also very loud. You hear them throughout the building constantly and it makes it difficult to sleep. The bar staff was mostly friendly, although they through away our unfinished drinks a couple times, and offered to make us new ones but always charged us for them. "Stayed at the Gunter for one night, there is no on site parking except for a valet service they offer for $50. Otherwise you must find your own parking. My room was out of conditioner and had very little shampoo. Staff was friendly. Had breakfast at the restaurant downstairs manager seemed overwhelmed but waiter was nice. Overal 3-4 stars."

"Location is great. Valet parking is a little bit congested it takes a while. A lady and a man at the front desk were a bit rude they have that attitude as if they were working at the police department. "Gated and secure parking was why I chose this property. However the water was turned off for about 10 hours during the day and considering my crazy schedule, that put me without shower families for 2 days. Then there was a flood in the neighboring room and is soaked all my luggage and required a room change. The hotel only offered to comp my parking fees. "

"The hotel is in a great location on the Riverwalk! The staff was pleasant. The Zocca restaurant was Great! The room overlooked the river but was not very clean. The bedside tables and the desk were dirty and my socks were black from walking around the room. The pool was not very clean but it was a nice atmosphere with plenty of towels."
