"Really friendly staff apart from the area traffic was ridiculous "

"We checked in just before midnight. They photocopy your passport. We got key cards. Room is good size and has air con but the bathroom has a very noisy duct exhaust type fan which made it hard to get a good sleep. Hotel is in the city centre of shops and restaurants, 10min walk to garlic lane, or to the beach.. 30min to beachwalk shopping mall. They cleaned and provided fresh towels daily except for the last day - I had to ask. Pool is smaller than it looks in the photos. I wouldnt stay here...

"Suited our needs "

"I didn't like the old wing of hotel.. But was moved to new section, which was great thanks 🙏. The breakfast area needs new Toaster. Only half of one toastng slots worked . Totally unexptable.. Regards Pip Mangano "

"So-so hotel. Rooms were subpar and mine had ants on the counter with the amenities. Bed was comfortable though. If sleep is the only thing you need in a hotel, this place is alright."

"I liken this hotel because it is near the beach, shopping mall is just next to it and many attractions and eateries within short walking distance but I hate the traffic jam leading to the hotel."

"Great place, very quiet and close to stylish restaurants at PARQ which is within 5 min walk. Restaurant and swimming pools are very good. Less than 5 min drive to city center. Easy access for Grab or Gojek. Highly recommend Bakung Ubud Resort and Villa"

"Need more cleanliness "

"Staff were very accommodating and rooms were cleaned daily. It is located centrally in Legion and within walking distance to the beach/shops/restaurants. First time I have stayed here and would definitely recommend and will return. Restaurant attached to the front of the hotel (Fat Buddha) is a little overpriced but offer a simple breakfast which is included with some room packages. The restaurant offer live sporting matches on big screen tvs and they have some great live entertainment each...

"We had a really lovely time at this hotel. Although the hotel is possibly a 2 -3 star the customer service is 5star! We had such a wonderful time and the gardens and pool areas are kept immaculate! I had a very good massage and would recommend. I would definitely stay here again. "

"First time staying at the Barong. Friend and very helpful staff on front counter The rooms are very clean and a good size especially the one I had which was right near the pool on the ground floor. Lovely way to wake up in the morning"

"We have stayed here around 5 times. Still a great older style hotel with good rooms, great location and adequate breakfast. Superior room bathroom is looking a bit tired. Upgrade is required to replace tiles and grout. Breakfast could be improved with freshly made pancakes, bacon and an automated coffee machine."
