"Beautiful old building. Great area. Rooms were quite nice and clean. Just no staff were ever present in our three night stay. An elderly couple who couldn’t speak English sat in the front lobby, often. I’m not sure if they worked there cleaning rooms or were a guest but if the worked there they made no attempt to communicate or help out, which was an issue because the front door to the building on a busy street was always left open"

"Reception was great. And very accommodating. Just needs a little sprucing up. New beds and pillows and carpet would be lovely. We needed a place to stay for 1 night and it fit that purpose. I left my electric toothbrush there and was able to retrieve it the next day. Very much appreciated. "

Our only complaint was that there was no WIFI for our entire stay which made it difficult for planning some activities due to the fact everything is booked online these days. "

"Very nice stay in Sue's B'n'B. We were allowed to place our luggage prior to check-in and get back later. Sue's hospitality is of very high standard. Everything is in order, clean and nicely maintained. Nice breakfast, we were treated like kings and queens. When Sue found out that we had to leave early for the airport after the last night, instead of the breakfast she prepared three bags of 'survival kit' with fruit and biscuits to bring with us. "I like the location. The bus is just next to the house. The responsable gave us some information about the famous attractions in Edinburgh. He has a dog called Tom. He's very friendly. It was the first time i wasn't scared of a dog. I noticed just that the room isn't warm enough. But in general i liked the experience"
