"The location was very convenient. It's right at Tennoji Station where you can easily access the subway, JR and Kintetsu lines. The pay gate of the subway was just outside the hotel exit at the basement level. The only thing I didn't like was the fact that anyone could easily come up to your floor by taking the elevator without going through the hotel lobby."

"This hotel is like no other we’ve stayed at on our visit to Japan, it has an old feeling like something out of a 16 th century palace but not in a tacky way. The hotel was lovely and clean with inviting staff. Not 5 minutes from the hotel at basement level, there is a fantastic area full of small restaurants with delicious food, and a seven eleven, so handy. The only thing we felt was missing in my opinion was washing machine facilities. We’d stay here again in a heart beat."
