"Just want to say that both the hotel and our room were great. The bedroom was clean and very comfortable. The reception sitting area and the restaurant/bar were both stylish and inviting. We didn’t have dinner but did have breakfast, which was cooked perfectly and delicious. Staff were also very friendly and helpful. Overall a superb overnight stay. "

"From check in, to check out, bar staff to restaurant staff, everyone was polite and attentive throughout. Our Exec room was comfortable and nice rain shower although I am not a fan of single all in one shampoo and shower wash so I deducted a point for that. Served breakfast was very nice."

"This Hotel is a 'smart hotel' where you get a code to open the Hotel & the room. The room was huge....2 TV's, a couch, big bed and 2 chairs & table beside the bed. The bathroom was also huge. "We booked here for it's easy drive to Dumfries House. Dinner and breakfast were excellent. Staff were very friendly and attentive. The restaurant and bar are nice informal and relaxing areas. Our weather was poor, so we couldn't take advantage of the great looking garden area. The room was small but adequate with a nicely refurbished ensuite. Pretty much as we expected for a 3 star small hotel /inn really."
