"I am writing to formally request a refund for my recent stay at Extended Stay America. We arrived at approximately 7 PM and were unable to access the building because all doors were locked. Another guest had already been waiting for over 10 minutes, and we then waited an additional 15 minutes before an employee returned to the front desk to let us in. This created an unsafe and frustrating situation, especially after travel. Upon entering the property, the experience continued to decline: • The front desk employee was extremely rude and unhelpful • Our room contained dirty towels upon arrival • The TV did not have working channels • The beds were extremely uncomfortable, covered in plastic, and made loud noise with any movement, resulting in very poor sleep • The hallways were dirty and the property smelled strongly of marijuana The following morning, when we went to get coffee, the front desk area was completely unattended and the lights were off. At that point, we felt uncomfortable and decided to leave the property before 7 AM. Additionally, the advertised “complimentary breakfast” consisted of only a few packets of oatmeal, a granola bar, and a broken coffee machine, which does not meet reasonable expectations. Overall, this stay did not meet basic cleanliness, safety, or hospitality standards. Due to these issues, I requested a full refund and was denied. Do NOT stay here!"

"I did not try the continental breakfast, and can't say anything about ot. The hotel was renovated, but not done with looking for the details. The shower was excellent, but the shower entrance, for example, was very cheap and partially painted over, and looked dirty. I needed extra time after the checkout at 11 AM and was charged $15 per hour, and a $4 fee for the hotel per night."

"Old and dated. Double beds are full size and very small. Bath tubs are old and dated. The carpet in the rooms and hallways has a smell. Very disappointed. "

"DO NOT STAY HERE- if you like bed bugs, worms on your bathroom floor or random cockroaches-this is your spot. Unaccommodating manager is a bonus. Marriott should be aware and ashamed. Marriott lost a customer."

"When you walk in you have to check in at a kiosk. There is only one and there were 4 or 5 people waiting to check in. This hotel has not been updated in a long time. The hallways smell. Our room had popcorn ceilings which had been partially scraped off. The hotel manager is not on site and not in the United States. "

"I found the hotel staff to be extremely polite and accommodating. Late evening arrival with 2 young kids in tow, things worked out perfectly. "
