The area in general has lots of homeless people. However, I think that this is a problem of the Eureka-Arcata region.

"Trinadad Bay B&B was an amazing place to stay! The view from the property was a real life postcard. The room was spacious and clean. Tyler, the innkeeper, was very attentive, helpful, and courteous. "It is a collection of 4 older buildings with exterior corridors along on Hwy 101. Hot tub looked amazing, but I didn’t use it. Breakfast had really good yogurt with fruit toppings, as well as eggs, pancakes etc. could walk the 5-6 blocks to old town Eureka. Was raining while we were there, so didn’t see or do much outdoors. Despite location, was pretty quiet in the room (we were on top floor). "

"Our stay at the Pinc Lady was perfect! The Victorian house is amazing! Our bedroom was huge and had an incredibly comfortable bed. Our hostess, J., was very helpful with where to go for dinner and the history of the house and area. We walked to the old town part of Eureka and there was an arts festival happening. What a cool town. We will be back,"
