"The smell in the lobby and when you first walk into the hotel was very off putting. Also the parking garage was horrible extremely small parking spots and a two way garage that only had room for one way. The parking garage does get full as welll."

"The staff could not have been nicer even holding our luggage before and after checkout. The beds were super comfy and the rooms extra spacious with a living room area separate from the sleeping space. And just a short walk to Busch Stadium and the arch!!"

"The staff was very helpful. I was disappointed in the cleanliness of the room. There was garbage in the trash, can from the prior people who stayed there and hair in the sink. There was also stains on the carpeting and on the couch in the room, the reduced price on the breakfast is a nice benefit for a downtown hotel, and the in and out privileges with the Quik Park next-door is a nice benefit. One of the elevators was down during our entire stay so that was also disappointing."

"Had a wonderful stay at the Hyatt. The staff was extremely friendly and the service was great. They were able to upgrade my room to a higher floor with a perfect view of the Arch! Only one complaint, only 2 elevators were working on our side of the building and it took a long time to come downstairs from my room."

"Great historic hotel. Rooms have been updated nicely. Had a soaking tub and a shower. Very clean. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Only knock is lots of surrounding buildings are vacant and boarded up. But we walked to local restaurant and to stadium and back with no problems"

"Several lights in the room did not work, only 1 bottle of water for 3 guests, valet didn’t lock my car that was sitting out front, had to go to desk to remind, breakfast was just ok, but overpriced."

"Be prepared for the dress code standard at this property, collared shirts required at the bar and restaurant no hats in the lobby. you must be well-dressed to lounge in the lobby although it is permissible to traverse the the lobby in street clothes provided you don't work there the rooms are made available to guest but are owned by the Missouri athletic club and it has Country club type rules it's an excellent place to stay but be prepared for this before booking."
