"The pub is Marstons brewery so they have no control over menu or drinks, this is a great shame as the local produce would offer excellent meals both healthy and not feel like the chain which it is. Food; we did have problems with a few dishes but we raised them at the time and it was rectified. Overall really nice, just a shame there was not a lot available as in off menu, and no healthy options. "Had a lovely 2 night stay here. Travelling solo and was made to feel very welcome. The place was spotless and had everything you could need. Lovely comfy bed and great shower. Owners were very friendly, bothing was too much trouble and i recommend the pancake breakfast! Sooooo nice! If you gwt chance to sample the chocolate cake you wont be disappointed! "
