"Potts Point is a great area to base yourselves in in Sydney and Spicers is a great "hotel" - actually, that's too impersonal, it feels more like a home away from home. The reception staff are interested and attentive, our room (No.8) was well provisioned and superclean, we were in walking distance of interesting local shops and restaurants, and a short Uber to the CBD. Thoroughly recommend."

"It was my first visit to The Porter House and I was generally happy with my stay. I had asked for a room on a higher floor and away from the elevator, which they were able to accommodate. It was a lovely touch to see my name displayed on the TV when we entered the room, and a bottle of wine and a hand-written card. It's the little things that made the stay enjoyable. "I dont understand how this is 4 stars. Old rooms with aged carpets, no pool or gym. Breakfast is really cheap - just bread and butter/jam - which you would not even feel like eating. They also do not provide basic amenity like TOOTHBRUSH. ridiculous!"

"From booking to check out, this was a memorable experience. Extremely professional check in process led by Salomon behind the front desk, a lovely spacious apartment on the 65th floor with fantastic views, and a great location at the southern end of Darling Harbour. Would recommend to anyone!"
