"Everything about the Athens gate hotel was great! All the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Easy walk to plaka, the acropolis, all types of food, the city for buses stop very close. "Property is very clean, bedding was good quality, and there were no issues with hot water in the shower. Room seemed like it was newly renovated (room #15 on the 4th floor). It was quiet between about midnight and 6am. The elevator makes a very loud grinding bang every time it stops, which you can hear in the room and made it hard to sleep. The elevator also oddly stopped about 1/2 meter from the actual floor and the door opened, which was unsafe, so we took the stairs for the rest of our stay....

"This property was fantastic and it’s perfect for a group traveling together. I went with my family and we appreciated the beautiful, spacious rooms and the 2.5 bathrooms.
