"The Red Caboose is great! It has a wonderful charm that is perfect for any railfan! The room was spotlessly clean and everyone was very welcoming. You couldn’t ask for a better place to watch trains go by. The restaurant is good and the train car that it is in is really beautiful. There’s also a petting zoo area on site that has some very sweet (if greedy!) goats and a very affectionate miniature horse. They offer Amish buggy rides departing from the parking lot if you’re interested; although a quick walk down the street in the evening will see you walking along fields with Amish men and women working hard. It’s also very close to both the Strasburg Railroad (which runs right by the property’s fence!) and the Pennsylvania Railroad Museum. Definitely a great place to visit!"
