My family and I stayed at Dung Beetle Guest Farm at the start of our holiday from the UK. The location close to Port Elizabeth and Addo Game Reserve was really handy. The farm itself is set in beautiful gardens/countryside and provides a really unique experience a million miles away from everyday life! The team were very friendly and always willing to help including a surprise cleaning of our car on the morning of leaving. Would definitely stay again!

Great location close to the Addo Park, nice and well-appointed chalet, excellent service, but unfortunately the ceiling void of our room was infested with bats that prevented us from getting sleep for the two nights that we were there. We raised it with the staff who confirmed that it was a known issue, which raises serious questions.

Das Zimmer war soweit in Ordnung. Man merkt allerdings, dass es renovierungsbedürftig ist. Durch ein Schlitz/Riss an der Wand/Fußboden und Abfluss im Bad ist ein Tausendfüßler reingekrochen. Das Frühstück war gut. Ich würde dort allerdings nicht nochmal übernachten wollen. Wir haben im Dungle-Beetle-Suite übernachtet. Für mich ist es kein 4 Sterne-Hotel. Das Personal war nett. Zum Schlafen hat es ausgereicht. Man fährt über eine Schotterstraße dorthin.

Die Unterkunft generell ist sehr speziell. Die BuschKabinen sind sehr einsam gelegen. Die Austattung ist sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Der riesige Lüfter lies sich nicht regulieren, das Tor lies sich nicht absperren. Wir haben sehr viel improvisieren müssen. Wer Abenteuer sucht ust hier richtig

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié le cadre de l'hébergement, les dîners et les activités proposées. Tout le personnel était au petits soins. Nous avons en revanche un peu regretté le côté rustique de l'hébergement Dung Beetle (peu lumineux, pas de vue). Nous aurions dû privilégier la location d'un chalet. Nous recommandons cet établissement pour un séjour réussi au parc Addo.

Muito pior que as fotos

As fotos não condizem com a realidade, fazem local parecer muito melhor do que ele é. O ar condicionado não consegue deixar a temperatura agradável, o quarto parece um forno, para piorar chegamos cansados da viagem e tínhamos que sair rápido para um Safari e não tinha água em nosso quarto. Não conseguimos tomar banho e nem lavar o rosto. Nosso quarto fica em uma longa caminhada por uma trilha, e isso não é informado na hora da reserva. A proposta do hotel é legal, sendo algo rústico, porém a manutenção está muito precária. As piscinas são sujas, ninguém entra na água. Falta reparo e pintura por tudo. Infelizmente nos decepcionamos muito.

Wir haben den Aufenthalt nach einer Nacht in der Bush Cabin abgebrochen, da wir in der Nacht massenhaft Mücken im Zimmer hatten, die uns eine schlaflose Nacht beschert haben. Das Strohdach über dem Außen-WC war viel zu niedrig. Für Streichholz (es war 1 Stück in der Schachtel) und Anzünder wurde Geld verlangt.
