"Really beautiful boutique hotel located with easy access to Newberry and the Commons, the Charles, and BU. Great (expensive) restaurant and bar. Staff was super attentive and responsive. Old google searches indicated they used to have complimentary passes to the neighboring gym. That was a bummer, and they should reinstitute that benefit . The room prices justify that perk for a property that doesn't have room for a gym. "

"I really loved my stay at the Commonwealth Hotel. It is clean, friendly, well-staffed and just a pleasure to visit. It’s right next to Fenway Park and close to the MFA and the Gardner museums. The staff members were fantastic! I will definitely stay there the next time I visit Boston."

"The room is very convenient for walking around Boston - and is right next to Boston University (noise). Unfortunately the noise from the city (sirens, traffic, yelling, etc) and light were very loud/noticeable. The room has only metal blinds and would greatly benefit from room darkening, heavy curtains to help eliminate some of that. Everything was clean. "I loved that there is a Trader Joe’s right next door. Easy access to the city! I hated the $45 a day to park. They get you there because there is no street parking."

"We arrived at 3 pm and stayed in room 410. The check in staff were well versed and had us checked in quickly. The Good: The room was surprisingly large, well lit and clean. Nice touch was the air purifier. Bed was comfortable. And hot water was hot. The annoying. Two things. The door into the shower/toilet area was to big to get in without stepping to the side.
